Model A Day

On July 26th, nineteen members of our club in nine Model As drove over to Bill Curry Ford in Tampa to celebrate the first INTERNATIONAL MODEL A DAY. (The first Model A was introduced 80 years ago.) We joined the Tampa club, Pen-Mar and others for the celebration. There were thirty-eight Model As there; what a wonderful sight to see all of these grand old cars lined in that parking lot 1. We were served hot dogs, cake, drinks and enjoyed the music and a couple dressed in period dress and suit (the guy looked like he had stepped right out of a Mafia sect). We received really nice watches (really!) from Bill Curry along with shirts and other paraphernalia. It was a hot day, but a really enjoyable one.
